The Yin-Yang Tulipwood project was born in 2012 with a collaboration between IE University, the American Hardwood Export Council and the Segovia City Council to hold a participatory workshop within the Hay Feestival celebration in Segovia.

Over the following years, this collaboration has continued to generate new interventions that, using the Timber Lupo, explore new structural possibilities and use of wood as a construction material.

The material proposed for the whole intervention will be Tulipwood whose properties of lightness, resistance, workability and finish will be the protagonists of each phase of the project.
